IMO, CMTN is selling off ahead of a Sanford Bernstein telecom eqt sector report due out tomorrow. CNBC's David Faber stated that since SB is not underwriting any of the companies, the report is likely to be more "objective/bearish" and that there is a disconnect between Wall St's outlook on telecom eqt companies versus the worsening fundamentals of their customers the telcos. I believe he said that some got wind of the report and were shorting certain telco eqt providers ahead of tommorrow's report. The SB analyst is " Hasagawa/Sagawa" ( sorry I only caught the tail end of the segment )and he surveyed 60 companies in the industry to reach his conclusions.
