Re: Today, SUN finally (2+ years LATE) introduced their UltraSParc III CPU and servers based on that chip. To maintain a strong price advantage over SUN, Dell may have made the reductions in their system prices that you noted - especially in the higher end ones. Paul, From what I've read about the USIII release, it's all smoke and mirrors to mask bigger problems at Sun. It looks like they are only going to have single processor workstations for the rest of the year. Deadlines for servers keep slipping into the distant future. chic
