The GG list service will be suspended for this week to let the list cool down. Can you give us a recap of what precipitated this?

"The GG list service will be suspended for this week ... We will start the list again next Monday, but if the same type of dialog reemerges, we will shut down for good. That's an absolutely amazing development. I don't know why in the world Moore and his host (can't remember the name) don't just move over to this thread and be done with it. As I ponder the reasons Lindy and Frank started this thread, I'm more grateful than ever to them not just for doing it but for the ideals they perpetuated in the very beginning and continuously each new day. --Mike Buckley
