I'm like any other American, I'm hack when it comes to drinking good coffee. My idea of good coffee has been starbucks. But after visiting Paris this spring I haven't had a good coffee since then, so my taste buds are getting educated every so slowly.

Isn't aged coffee considered better? I read once that there are warehouses of gourmet Blue Mountain that are sold whenever prices are higher. Was this a family farm, or are you one of those gringo gentleman farmer?

Had me a cup of good old Cafe Rey today, that I brought back from El Jardin de Paz y Democracia. Not really GOOD COFFEE, but it beats the hell out of Folger's. In fact I packed a little bag into a package with some goodies for GM today.

Send him some GOOD COFFEE, why don't ya?

Wish I was in Cahuita today, <sigh> or eating pinto con natilla, maduro, pan with that coffee.

I love Good Coffee, Pedro, Arabica is my favorite. Did you sell any to Starbucks? I've read that they were hurting the coffee farmers for a while there. I knew someone once in NY that had her own blend made up for a restaurant she was managing and it was the best coffee I had ever tasted. I was able to get a few 10 Lb. bags before the restaurant shut down. I've tried to concoct my own "blend" to match with limited success.
