Yeah you definitely need a different Intel chipset
for 4way. I think it was the 82450 or something like
that. For 8way, it believe it was Profusion.

Processor families were basically slot1 and slot2,
different pinout, connector power requirements
etc. That's all changing however with Willamette,
Foster, Itanium etc.

In any event, Intel's server chipsets have huge
holes in their roadmaps. That's why they went
with ServerWorks.
