$218 is the lowest cost on Pricewatch for 128MB RIMMS. Please feel free to go into public denial about the where the cost comes from.

Do you think that the board costs for a RIMM are significantly different from a DIMM?


LOL! I've already posted this information. Since there are 8 chips on a RIMM, each chip would then roughly retail for $25 to $30. Direct from the Mfr. would be less. And you'd get a discount off that for volume purchases.

However, as you've admitted, your original post was an "exaggeration". That's all I was asking you originally.
