Albert, <the contribution of 1GHz chips to the average would be .15*1000=150MHZ. Subtract that from the total and the freq drops from 800 to 650 which implies that k6s are included. The total mpu output of amd is around 7mil so 1mil is about 15%. The report is consistent with freq as well as percentages.> Not sure I follow your math. Let's make this straightforward. ~2M Athlons shipped this quarter. Assume generously that all of this was at 800MHz or above. That would make 800MHz and above as less than 1/3 of this quarters shipments. So, saying 800MHz is the average speed grade for the quarter doesn't cut it. Unless SSBs (or your) definition is something else... Chuck
