With roughly 64 trading days left in y2000. I would say a 20%-25% jump in the naz to 5000 is more like a pipe dream. Just like RMBS going to 200. Can it happen? Maybe. Is it likely? I doubt it! nolimitz

hey Jim dub-ul-ewe, I saw some of that interview..... my impression was that the trend is up..... but (loved his analogy comparing the 6 week bear market to the loss of a loved one).... those who suffered huge losses.... & there were many..... will continue to mourn.... off & on...... for a year.... or more. I'll take a traders market with a positive bias going forward. I'd love to see 5,000.... Me thinks the market needs to see or perceive of a Goldylocks economy to hit it though. Right now it seems that we've gotten focused on papa bear's hot porridge, mama bear's cold porridge & who the heck ate baby bear's porridge. FWIW, CNBC just said AAPL announced they will miss.... big :-\| OOF Ö¿Ö Tim
