You guys just don't get it.

There's not problem making P4's (I'm assuming).

I'm sure phasing out Celeron and moving P3 to the low end is exactly what Intel would love to do.

There's one small problem, RAMBUS.

There is not going to be sufficient supply of DRDRAM. This means we won't see volume P4 until there's an alternative chipset.

The Dramurai just don't "switch" over to DRDRAM. They have to buy lots of new equipment, etc. Anyone expecting a sudden pop in DRDRAM availability is living a pipe dream. In 6 months there will not be enough DRDRAM to support 5% P4's from Intel, which I think means it's not a threat to AMD at all.
