Hi Pedro,

I found that mixing about 1/3 French Roast to the House Blend (Starbucks) gave the coffee the extra "body" that I like in my coffee. I'm sure if I played around with it I could fine tune it better.

BTW, do you know of a good manual coffee grinder? I have a Braun electric, and that thing is so LOUD. Especially in the morning....<g>

Pedro, You can post all you want, there is no subject matter to this thread. I'm finding it fascinating what you are telling us anyhow.

Greg

OT - coffee question.
I mix Folger's regular grind with a dark roast or expresso ground bean. I find the Folger's retains water and the fine ground beans better than beans alone. Is it true that commercial coffees such as Folgers contain a filler similar to cocoanut husks to provide this sponge effect?
