RE: i850 Chipset bug.

Just great. Sounds like AMD has been paying Intel engineers to strike where it hurts. About all the P4 will have going for it is graphics performance, and where does the chipset have problems? Oh wait, it is supposed to be good on MP3 compression/decompression. Is there a problem with sound cards too?

Andreas, the P4 delay may be confirmed, but so far Intel is keeping the story off the financial wires. Has anyone heard it on CNBC, CNNfn, or Bloomberg yet?

Andreas "Dell says that this bug can lead to instability when transferring graphics data and high overall system load. It will be delayed "several" weeks according to Intel."

Andreas

Isn't Mickey D. the guy who said he wouldn't use AMD because of quality issues? Talks the talk but lets Intel walk all over him.
