I also hope it is Euro based or something. If it is all AAPL I may have to go back to the bullion and loading of the guns thing:)

The Phoenix, When CNBC used AAPL and tech leader in the same sentence this morning, I couldn't believe it. AAPL is a fringe player and has been for years. tp

CSCO buying AAPL. The have decided that they want to take on a sinking ship to get some losses on the books. Once the buyout is completed AAPL will turn into an online fruit site..bananas roooool dude..nature's perfect treat

That's the Internet and on-line trading...The new paradigm...

I remember paying $1,000.00 just to buy or sell a stock. If people had to pay those high commissions again, do you think we would see these swings?

Didn't someone here say that someone lost their total gains in Apple with this 50% loss we just seen? I thought they said they owned Apple for years? Well Apple was trading at a lot lower prices just 2 years ago, and didn't it have a stock split, if I am not mistaken, so if that investor had Apple for years, he should still be in BIG profits???????? Just 2 years ago Apple was in the 10.00 range.

Like Arno said, Pandoras Box is opened.

PS
The phrase "Long Term Investor" is still valid, and safer for most as companies with a solid plan will continue to grow!
