Pedro, re: burr grinders, I agree the cost is not worth it if you are just doing drip coffee, but if you want to do espresso, burr grinders do a much better job of grinding the beans to a specified, fine grain. Mine has an adjuster on it that is pretty accurate. There is no way to do this consistently with a rotor grinder. You will notice that any cappuccino place worth its salt uses a burr grinder. OTOH, re: cappuccino makers, there are some really ridiculous machines that will grind, tamp, froth, pour, and practically drink your coffee for you. Quintessential bells and whistles for triple the price. Better to get individual, dedicated components of high quality (and do the tamping yourself!) than to buy some one-man-band machines costing north of a grand. (Not the Rio Grande!)
