if the king were dead sales would be slowing. they are not slowing.

you can create a philosophy about dying; but slowing sales should accompany such. sales are not slowing

the pedals may be off the rose, as you say, but Dell's sales remain fine. you can't reivent slowing sales from sales that are doing well.

as for Asia not delivering: 2X more people live in the metro areas of Asia alone as live in the U.S. the metro areas are not hurting for infrastructure. they're going wireless; it is cheaper and faster to deploy wireless as wireline. China added 25 million wireless users in the past nine months. China is now wired for PCs, PDAs, and anything else that has a PMCIA slot

this is called margin call day.
