Jim, things may be more complicated than that. The
rumor is that Rambus invented and patented the
Dual-Data rate idea. If that will be proven as
true in courts, everyone will be dead, Intel
first. Because every interface in the Intel
architecture is based on DDR today. And notice,
DDR is on both ends of those interfaces.
Imagine the size of royalties due?
Therefore Intel must take the anti-cancer
medication very carefully.
