I agree with you about PGO. In the past 3 months I have only read one press release from any producer suggesting they were going to shoot more seismic. Most talk about the huge backlog of drilling prospects they have.

Roger, Sharp. On a 9 mo hold, HGT IS exceeding expectations.

I mean geez! The thing is a royalty trust, for cry'in out loud, lol. 1/2 the time it almost acts like one of the better sm E&Ps.

What do you think has been holding SMOP in check? Anything from the fundamental side, or word via your industry sources?

Maybe it's just a matter of the usual parade with lg caps in a sub-sector moving first, followed by the smaller guys. Anyway, that's been my assumption since the large drillers have just recently begun to move again.

OT/An interesting play and my only non natural resource position, at the moment is RTN.B. Also my only lg cap.

Basis 22 n sm change from averaging in late Spring thru mid-summer. First big hurdle was getting through $25 which it did on a powerful breakout. $29-30 area should fall before year end. LT it's a monster with next target in the low 40s. And IMHO, over the next couple of years, Raytheon has a shot at the old highs around $70.

How are your other fav stocks on that list making out?

This is as exciting a market as I've seen in a long time.

Cheers.
