Not necessarily. September is typically a worse months for stocks than October. We've had a few infamous crashes in October, but this was the worst September in a long time and I think October will be a good month. Last year October was a very good month to be long the market.

Maybe, maybe not but all this is very short term. I'm more interested in what the price of MSFT and the rest of the market will be in 6 months, 1 year, 5 years and 10 years. Unless you're ready for your box those are the key questions.

I'll stay long Microsoft, get on with my life and maybe check the stock price towards the end of next year.
(incidently it is only about 3% of my total portfolio so even if it was wiped out I'd survive)
