Dave B, My apologies if I'm misunderstanding your statements. I see no irony at all. No "apology" needed. Your meaning was clear: extreme solutions are usually the ones that screw things up. As a supporter of Rambus technology, your expression of this view in relation to any discipline (i.e., political, social, religious, technological, agricultural, etc.) on a Rambus thread, of all places, was a level of "irony" that caught me by surprise. Perhaps shocking is too strong a term. "Incredible", or perhaps "unbelievable", would be a better description of my reaction. But no doubt the error was mine for having presumed a greater capacity for consistency in human thought. Clearly there are "complexities" at work here that I am unable to fully digest. ...I will endeavor to avoid such simple "presumptions" in the future. 0\|0
