hi patrick

indeed, a most unfortunate tale.

at the risk of sounding like a dell apologist, i will say that i fail to see where dell should even be included in on this story? put another way, why shouldn't they "lateral to QCharts"?

and while i find dell's suggestion that the prob may be the result of you using non-dell monitors equally obtuse <g3>, i once again fail to see why, "It is difficult to believe the manufacturer once you are in a position such as this"?

it must be a drag to have to go from one machine to another.

but in my estimation, the responsibility lies with either of the two software vendors and definitely not the boxmaker, whether it's dell or gateway or any of the others.

:)

Patrick,

Quicken 2001 basic runs on a Win 2K/dual processor setup with no problems. As much as I hated spending the money to buy/upgrade my Quicken 2000, the program's graphic layout is much better and the program works smoothly.

Good Trading,

Alex
