Thanks for the comment Steve. And please tell Andy there's more! I hope he and his friends are finding some jewels in the pages of V/L.

Since I get some of the basic data for my Idiot Wave from Value Line each week, I'm there anyway. While there, I usually look at the latest week's section (one replaced each week with a rotation of 13 weeks for complete replacement). I also look through the index section fairly completely each week.

Most people use it as confirmation of an idea. They hear of a stock and then go to the library to research that stock. I think a better approach is starting with a general long term theme or foundation and then building a case for an individual stock based upon how it measures up within its sector.

Please tell Andy I'd love to attend one of his Thursday sessions some time. I'll be happy to go over what I look at with him again.
