Glenn, Do you remember KIS, and how you agreed with his ejection from the winners circle ?
Do you know the topic that prompted that ejection ? I know you said you were busy that
day. But you also said that you reviewed the posts and agreed with the ejection.

Anyway, the topic at the time was regarding Prince Al-Waleed and how his investment in
companies (including Apple) should be viewed as a sign the company and its stock will do very
well. One thing led to another. KIS called W a hypocrite, and W responded by revoking KIS's
ability to call him names on his own thread.

I agreed with the ejection of KIS then as I do now. It does not matter that Prince Alwaleed was incorrect. KIS was not making an effort to make logical arguments. He was not adding anything concrete to the thread. It was not what was said but the constant bickering.

It happens that the greater fools had a lot of money
from the full-employment economy and they were ripe for picking. And they were picked clean
by the brokers and analysts that your new econ friends are so fond of.

Many of the people that have done well with the new economy tech stocks are not fond of the brokerage firms or the analysts. You are very bitter and I can relate. We both lost a lot of money shorting stocks with which we had no faith in their fundamentals. Specifically Amazon in my case. I have not recovered all that loss. Yes; I am bitter about that because I have no confidence in their business model now either. Thsio also goes for PCLN and a variety of other stocks that rose to very high valuations. On the other hand, there are a lot of technology companys that have created and are selling top notch products.

But the game has changed. What was the worth of Mark's tip to you regarding ADCT ? I
don't know what else they advise you on the other thread. But my guess is that it was equally
worthless.

ADCT is still selling top notch products. These stocks have a higher beta than the market in general. They will fall faster than the market averages and rise faster than the market averages. I am please being an owner of ADCT and plan on benefitting when the market environment improves.

I believe the stocks I chose to buy based on my research and the input of many others have done well. My portfolio is up 5% this year as of market close on Friday. My IRA and my wife's IRA (which I handle for her) are up 8%. I admit this is not exactly a killing but it is far better than losing 50% of my networth shorting Amazon.
