That's why I cautioned to always look to the other side when you find yourself getting bullish or bearish... frequently there is just as much support for the other side which, if you take that into account in your trading decisions, can keep you from making some REALLY big blunders.

Remember, though, the mutual fund flows for last week were OUTFLOWS to the tune of 3 or so billion dollars. Will that keep up? Stay tuned...

Another point or 3:

If you are shorting a stock, it is better to short one in a downtrend than one bullish or flat... seems obvious on the face of it but so many people ignore this (as do I occasionally) and regret it later.

I was even looking at BA for a tank... just because it has run up so much!!!

Something like GPS in the high 20s would suit this characteristic perfectly???
