Interesting chart, Pareto. Is there a way to track this chart with the stock market rises and declines, of course allowing for seasonality..?

Some will say the decline is because SI monitors too much, or not enough...but I think this is a problem for ALL sites. There are just 24 hours a day for each of us, and each and every web site out there is vying for attention. The companies that will succeed will be like GNET/INSP, that continue to have interesting content where people want to stay, AND that are the toll-takers,IMO.

Did anyone read the column by Jim Cramer today? I'm going to email a cc to myself as a reminder that some people just don't get it. Are we such a society (international) that we think these things just happen instantly and without huge cost? ...and then we throw them away? I do agree with him that there must be a ROI...and I'm sure much greater heads than mine are trying to work that out at all levels.

How many TV programs did people watch last week, versus how many hours on Internet (proactive vs reactive...) What an amazing time we live in!
