Front door is wide open as I am typing. It's a beautiful day, the sky is lavender blue and the air is fresh and sweet and the birds are singing. But if Lizzie, Miss Aggressive Barker 2000, wasn't out there I'd keep the doors closed. She barks so much, when we open the doors to let her out she runs out barking, just to make sure she hasn't missed anything.

Your neighbor ought to put motion detectors on those lights. It would save him some money as well as keep you sane. Well, as sane as you are capable of, anyway.

Maybe your new neighbor is my co-worker's son and his family-- he's in the Federal Witness Protection Program after having ratted out his drug dealer associates. I assume he would have pitbulls and floodlights wherever he is... and maybe barbed wire, booby traps.... a moat...
