I do believe that amd would try to go faster than 1.2 is amd would manage to release p4 this year otherwise 1.2 would be good enough.
The problems are similar but the last time it helped intel and this time around it does not have the expected positive effect on amd. :-)) Amd is still considered an underdog :-))

Cirrus, This is EXACT same problem AMD claimed to have at the beginning of last year with the K6-2!

P.S. But I don't remember that time being educated by bank analysts (ok, they are meticulous Swiss guys) to this level of details of mask related chip production things. They really care about INTC investor sentiments. LOL
