And next Monday is the 9th! Just in time for the Microprocessor Forum2000, which I wish I could attend...

Why would the 1.2 have anything to do with 760 chipset? The 1.2 isn't expected to be the mustang is it? (or is it?)

I didn't expect the 760 to be released with this chip, but it'd be awesome news if it was.

Pravin, <The 1.1 Ghz Athlon was introduced five weeks ago today. So, we should see the 1.2 Ghz Athlon next Monday, at the latest, unless they have to slip that due to 760 chipset bugs.>

The best situation would be if the 1.2 GHz is a 266 MHz bus chip because it could work synchronously with DDR 2x133 MHz. Above 1.2 GHz, 1.3 is not a 133/2, so maybe the next chip would be 1.26 or 1.33.

OTOH, if the 760 isn't ready, they'll just keep 1.2 a 200 MHz bus chip and try to release a 1.33 GHz 266 bus chip simultaneous with P4.
