My guess: it will take an earnings release from Intel on October 17 to set things going again, assuming they don't disappoint after their warning. The next day, Oct 18, is SUNW's earnings release, which should get things heated up for SUNW, even if the market isn't doing much.

However, it may take even longer than that, since I understand the Mutual funds engage in a lot of tax-loss selling for the year in October, and I suspect a lot of companies are down on the year from last October based on the fact that the NASDAQ is flat, so we may see more selling pressure.

Notwithstanding, I added to my INTC today at 40 11/16, and will be averaging more in over the coming weeks.
