Thanks, margin_man, but - this is the same circle I've been running around with E*Trade. Nothing I see or click from that page leads me to DSL signup - just Power E*Trade signup, or the DSL FAQs.
BTW - I got an alert Saturday telling me I was approved for Power E*Trade, but none of the features have appeared yet - maybe because the account isn't supposed to be fully active until tomorrow? They did say 48 hours, but that was Saturday. Maybe the application will magically appear once it's activated.
Here is the entire thread of my correspondance with E*Trade regarding my inability to sign up for DSL online. The first message I sent to them is at the bottom.
By the way - Mr Alexander has yet to call . . .

Thanks for the link, but that doesn't get me through to any availability check or any application for DSL itself - just the Power E*Trade online application, which I have already downloaded (.pdf), filled out, and sent in to you, and it's been approved. It is in the FAQs link on the URL you just sent me that I found the message from below - I'll paste it again:
Q. How do I sign-up for the Power E*TRADE DSL Program? A. To apply for the program and see if you are in an area that can get DSL Internet service today, proceed through our online sign-up process.
I did that, and I got no such information. Why don't you try it yourself? The information IS NOT THERE on your website. THERE IS NO DSL APPLICATION on your website. This is CIRCULAR COMMUNICATION.
WHERE CAN I GET THE INFORMATION, PLEASE?????
If I need to call in and speak to somebody who knows something, please give me a name, a department, an extension number. And, while you're at it, I'd like the email address of a supervisor to copy this entire thread to.

The online signup button on the DSL page leads to the application page for PowerE*Trade, ( trading.etrade.com ) with no option to apply for DSL. The options presented are print the form, download the .pdf, request the form by mail, or call.
Where is the DSL signup and eligibility section? Your online signup process doesn't do it.
I've already sent the forms in and been approved for Power E*Trade, so there's no need to force me through an online application process. I'm just trying to find out about DSL. I'm prepared to call Concentric and get the install set up - I just need to know how to get you to recognize it once it's set up on this end.
