If AMD misses next week it could signal the end of the world as many of us know it. It might be a good time to own gold stocks.

Jim,

I think gold is getting ready to make a comeback.

If this is truly a long term bear market we are entering, gold stocks will do well.

The first thing that needs to happen is for the dollar to collapse.

We'll see. I'm gambling heavily on tech, so this is my downside protection. If gold doesn't become worth something, I think that means the market goes up in which case my tech will go up. It's a hedge I guess.
