"My only concern is that, if I remember correctly, the guidance on royalties was cautious."

The guidance, if I recall correctly, was $17.0 to $17.5 million up from $12.0 to $12.5 million given during the Q1 conference call, but down from the record $21+ million in Q2. Some of the royalty payments appear to be front-end loaded, or perhaps Toshiba is paying less now that Yokkaichi is on line with the 512Mbit chip densities.

I wish to see how the TDK announcement plays out and whether other licensing agreements have been penned as a result of SanDisk's win over Lexar Media.

BTW, we are about 3 weeks away from the initial arguments in the patent nullification trial. The last shot across SanDisk's bow was, IMHO, very weak and very thinly veiled. It is time for Lexar to face the music.

Could we see a settlement before then?
