Unless, the latest stepping was withdrawn completely, not just the 1.13 parts, and we are back to the previous one.

That would be news to me, but I'm not certain.

Joe, thinking about this some more, Intel doesn't do steppings specifically for a certain clock speed for a chip type, like PIII. 1 GHZ is "just" a speed bin, along with 933, 866 MHz, etc. They are all intended for SMP capability. Dell and HP have 2-way PIII servers right now.
