Jim, that's the point. Long Island isn't the center of the universe (that's in Silicon Valley). But here in our backwater, we are <slight exageration on> swimming in PIII systems for sale in retail outless <slight exageration off>. So here in our three million people backwater hick/rural existence, we nonetheless have our pick of the suckers. Contrary to what some folks have been saying <end of rant>. Since I intend to buy a 1 GHz PIII this December, I'll be able to give you a more detailed report in about a month and a half. I'm sure you'll be delighted with the news. Seriously, the problem isn't that there aren't any GHz P3's now. The problem was that there weren't any around this summer. If you keep looking in a rear view mirror, your gonna get some surprises.
