Your story makes me wish I hadn't let my Louisiana bar license expire - I also have Virginia and Maryland, didn't think Louisiana was worth the extra cost of the dues, and too hard to keep up with the civil law here in a common law jurisdiction - but I think I might could find you a good lawyer in New Orleans, if you want to PM me with the particulars. Regardless, please accept my condolences for a crappy experience. Congratulations on cold-cocking the bastard, hope he doesn't get a warrant out on you. -ng-

I can empathize with your problem, Entergy's track record of timely restoration of power outages, equals the coyote's success after the roadrunner! Enough to make you want to put somebodies lights out. It's tough to pamper a car in New Orleans and I sure as hell dont need to explain why to you. Good luck on retribution.

Ps... you are not related to car dealer from Chalmette are you? <g>

WOW! Now that is a pretty good story, Gary.

Sorry to hear about that. I guess just be glad you weren't in your baby when it happened. That line must have had some voltage running through it to melt the tires!

I thought utility companies had easements for their lines and could come in and cut down whatever was interfering with them? I would try and make sure that jerk has to pay for your car but punching him down is probably going to come back and haunt you. Bet it felt good though. -g-

Take a bunch of pictures 'cause I think you are going to need them in the upcoming mess. Good Luck!
