Do not struggle with this. -g Having lived in Europe, I too have seen the twisted faces of the people there trying to figure out the Americans.

I have enormous respect for their early years as a society, but I now think it impossible anymore for that system to both nurture a true leader and allow him/her to attain the highest office.

Glad someone finally agrees with me!!! IMO the office of president has mattered little in quite a while... certainly with the economy.
