Jim, I thought Bush did fine. He made his points and contrasted his vision from Gore very clearly. Gore is a little better debater; but that's really irrelevant here in winning the undecided vote.

Basically, I think the electorate has a clear choice between a liberal and a conservative.

It is a very divided country in regard to that. Most Americans are moderately conservative on economic issues but liberal on social issues.

I don't think most Americans will want to rock the boat come Election day. It's been a good 8 years economically for the most part.
