I would also suggest market-based index or sector funds where there is even less conflict than with a fund manger. Disclaimer - I buy only individual stocks and try to manage no more than 20 at one time.

Thanks Jacob. It is really not the broker I am worried about. He has increased our portfolio 1000% in 10 years and makes very very very few trades. I think he is worth 10 -20 mill himself. I do not suspect him, I disagree with him and he plays GOD. That is why I look for diversity of opinions and asked for them on this board. In reality my biggest fear is that my broker will retire. He thinks the cycle is not over. That is 1 opinion.

But for now I am unhappy. I guess we all are. Thanks for the info. Lynnie K
