Jim: Reading along, lurking as usual.

Would love to see a bottom soon, and the beginning of a recovery but I just don't see it.

Oversold yes. A bottom in sight??

Jim, the EU raised interest rates today, for the 7th time, to shore up the EURO??, which makes no sense to me.

Anyway, the markets are slip-sliding away. Short & cash is where it's at, although I traded CDO, a local company, long for 2 days on the dcb.

Also, name your price for Priceline PCLN...I am thinking zero.

The most important thing people need to think about these days is that any stock, AAPL as an example, can be cut in half overnight. That will keep a lid on any decent 3 or more day price rises in the indexes. I just can't happen with the current mindset of the markets. And if/when overseas money flows back to where it came, we could see a US market wipeout. I wonder if the rate rise by the EU has something to do with this? If so, does the rate increase offset the carry cost of a further drop in EURO value?
