Scumbria, The bashers expectations here were for maybe 100K P4s given the larger die, yields, .18 etc... Clearly, the bashers have been proven wrong by the article numbers Don posted. The P4 production numbers are much higher than expected. Here it is: Message 14511323 And I quote: "P4 production is running at just 70,000 a week, Intel reportedly having set a target of 100,000 a week before the part can be launched." Do the math and you will understand that the numbers are much higher than anyone expected.
