Well, I think Cheney's voting record has been discussed and explained on this thread. Besides, the average citizen doesn't get involved in all these piddling elections and considers this question an annoyance.

Cheney lived all his life in Wyoming. He moved to Texas a few years ago. His children are grown. Its my understanding that all the elctions he did not vote in were in Texas. I can see how he might not feel motivated. But after all, voting or not voting is a choice we are all free to make in a free country. Only someone desparate for something to criticize would pick up on this fact. I personally wish that Al Gore, as VP under Clinton, hadn't made that tiebreaking vote in the Senate to increase taxes on SS income for seniors, but it was his choice after all. JLA
