Long...I don't give credit to MD...he should have known better...he has been in a similar situation at least 2 other times in the last year and half...and he doesn't seem to understand the necessity of properly timing announcements such as this....When Intel warned, he should have immediately lowered expectations for the quarter, even if he didn't have complete information about the quarter.
But he came out, even on TV, and gave absolutely no sign of trouble. That was disingenuous. There were multiple press releases pushing the 30% (now overly aggressive target)..that was totally unnecessary, given he knew the risk...MD needs to conduct his investor relations less like Larry Ellison and Scott McNealey and more like Microsoft/Cisco...
