Actually, my No. 1 fear is not a Bush presidency per se, but a Bush presidency in concert with a GOP Congress. That's what scares me. I think such a triumverate would declare open season on labor organizations, successful welfare programs, and programs that give minories and the less fortunate a needed helping hand. And I think we could kiss campaign finance reform good-bye. No, you and I differ greatly on this issue. I see great potential for harm if there's a GOP triumverate. I see major problems on many fronts. If Bush gets elected, the religious right wing of the Republican Party will be cashing in its IOU's.
