You really don't get it, do you Tomato? Why should Reid take up his valuable time to prove anything to you? If you're not satisfied with what is offered, there are other places to go. This is friendly thread, with no expectations. You are very demanding for someone who has offered absolutely nothing in the way of constructive input. Time to take a humble pill.

Tomato... You were very rude to Reid! Let's call a spade a spade. Reid has done nothing to harm you or anyone who posts on his threads, and only asks that the posters on his thread respond in kind..."KIND" being the key word here! Reid neither suggests nor recommends a stock. The main purpose of this thread is to teach people how to use T/A, and discuss the various charts with some very knowledgeable people on SI who also use T/A. He has spent countless hours helping me learn to read a chart and given me many good sites to study, to help further my T/A education. It never once crossed my mind to ask him what stock he thought I should buy. This is why I studied the charts, to hopefully make an educated decision on my own. There is no reason Reid should divulge to you, me, or anyone on SI how much money he has made in the stock market. I know many people who claim to have made millions, and I wouldn't trust a stock suggestion from them any more than I would trust the produce man. You came here of your own free will, I suggest you leave the same way.

To Tomato and the thread. This and the following post are ones that I have wanted to make since that small skirmish happened here. I don't think that anyone is to be blamed for it or should feel badly in anyway. I personally thought that it was a good thing. First a couple of remarks from me and then my post to Tomato will follow this post. 1)- Both posts are really aimed at the thread as much as they are at Tomato....so please let no one think that I am finger pointing as I am not. My thoughts are general thoughts meant to clear up in anyones mind what I think about it. 2)- The fact that others here felt strongly enough to speak up on my behalf was a nice thing to see as this has always been a very high quality group of people who have gathered here, always showing one another mutual respect. So here goes........

Ive been thinking about that "thing" that happened a few weeks ago and have been wanting to say a few things to you concerning that. First of all I in no way was offended or thought that you were saying anything to me that bothered me. I honestly dont read my thread because Im busy doing other things. Each day at least 3 or 4 times I log into my SI inbox and it normally contains about 7 to 15 messages and/or PMs from others so I just start at the bottom of the list and respond in order. My post to you on this thread was done in this same manner. After I finished answering all my inbox messages at that time....I did log onto the thread because of a PM to me concerning you. It was only then that I realized that you were not being treated very nice but the mud was being slung in both directions. Message 14515411 I hope you noticed that I allowed you the last word to me. I did that on purpose and for a reason. I am a strong believer in our right to free speech. I think you had/have every right to question me and my tactics and or motives. I feel I have this same right if I choose to exercise it. My gut feeling was to put a post on the thread just when I saw what was going on asking the others to stop. But this would have stifled their right to speak their mind as well so I did not make a post like that. After much deliberation I began to realize that the simple fact that my integrity has never been questioned by anyone on SI so by your doing so was a good thing. I decided to let the thread find it's course without my influence. I left many PMs to me unanswered out of my feeling of fair play to you....IE I did not get involved beyond my open post to you. So to sum it up....I apologize to you if you felt that you were not treated with respect. I thank you for beginning that debate as I see it as a healthy thing. I invite you back either on the public thread or private messages to me when you feel like it. I do what I do so you will have to make up your own mind what my system is but that will be a tall order because I dont have or use one. I just read charts and their indicators. Each stock has its own system characteristic so to speak. The best Reid

Well good buddy Tomato – how are you? How have you been? This is what you said in your last post to me on this thread: Anyway, my point is that keeping score might result in good things happening..things like spotting patterns in your analysis that work better than others...things like noting when candlesticks work and when they don't.... Seems to me that one could do that and still have a lot of laughs, but VENDIT HAS SPOKEN, so I guess things shall remain the same. ;-) I'll still tune in occasionally, but I won't post anymore.
