It's more important in the long run to pay off the national debt than to return a small amount of tax refund to all people. While the rich save thousands on their taxes, the middle class and poor save hundreds. Stop being so nearsighted.......the economy , social security, and medicare will be just fine as long as we keep the national debt low and preferably a surplus. Protecting our future with surpluses is far better than putting a couple of hundred dollars in the pocket of your average citizen.
