Interesting info on Bush/Gore debate:

Memorandum

To GOP Activists
Fr Ken Hutcheson
Re George W. Bush Debate Win/Al Gore's Lies

I hope you got a chance to see the debate last night. George W. Bush did a very
good job articulating his message and debating Al Gore.

I am sure it will come as no surprise to you that Al Gore could not go the
entire debate without telling a lie. In fact, two lies have been exposed so
far.

That's fine, LOF. But "good job articulating his message"?! He was less articulate than Patrick Ewing on a bad day. How do they address the fact that George W. is a little bit stupid?

re: Gore being a liar

I watched the debate in its entirety and I thought Bush did much better than expected and moved me a lot in the direction of voting for him.

HOWEVER - after reading your post in which you "prove" he is a liar, I am convinced that supporters who so misrepresent the facts are dangerous and that if Bush brings people like that into his gov't. we are in danger.

If I call you LOGonFIBER (instead of LONG, or better yet LONGonFIBBER) does that make me a liar or does that make me mistaken?

I don't think Gore lied. I don't even think he fibbed. And I don't even think he is long on fibbing, as you plainly do.

Do you think that Gore is the stupider of the two candidates to the extent that he assumes every little statement he makes won't be checked for accuracy. Even if he was prone to prevarication, why o' why would he willfully open himself up to people like you who have an ax the the size of Texas to grind?

Logistically speaking, do you really think what you are saying makes any damned sense at all?
