you see, i disagree that Fidelity can buy an 11% stake in a company like MRVC (relatively low float) and NOT move the price while it's getting in. it was VERY obvious when they were buying the stock early this year.

ok, and that "accomodation" is due to selling... be it for market fears, recession fears, management fears...whatever, someone is selling. you can't accumulate 100k shares without someone eventually selling 100k shares. market makers almost NEVER short or long this stock overnite. so, if someone buys 100k shares today, someone has almost certainly sold 100k shares today. the only "accomodation" is by sellers. no conspiracy. just someone who wants to buy agains someone who wants to sell. both believe they have justifiable reasons for doing so.
