What me worry about the economY??? This is country AND industry specific:

SINGAPORE: Asian automotive sales could fall in 2001 after two strong years of recovery, with South Korea facing the biggest risk of a slump, an industry consulting firm said on Tuesday.

"The big bounce-back is over," said Graeme Maxton of Autopolis, a London-based automotive analysis and consulting firm specializing in the Asia-Pacific region.

A little anecdote from my old stomping grounds, Sheyboygan Press:

Tue 3-Oct-2000

Hoping for a mild winter
Cost of home-heating fuels continues to escalate
By Martha H. Shad
of The Press Staff

By the time you finish reading this the
frustration radiating off you may be enough
drive away winter's chill.

Both Wisconsin Public Service Corporation
and Alliant Energy have said that natural gas
prices will be up about 50 percent from last
year.

WPSC reports that heating oil prices have
increased 42.6 percent and liquid propane
prices have increased 40.5 percent.

Inflation?? What inflation?
