hmmm, try to look back some, during the summer. we hardly heard any noise out of cell sector, QCOM pretty much flat-line during that time, while analyst and investor where still under the impression that network sector and the optical sector would bypass any economic downturn, of course you can see that is not the case with the telecom spending slow down. Until the story is fully know about the telecom spending, the story surrounding JDSU will continue to be tainted, even if it's not fair or applicable, JDSU will suffer until that the impact of that is clarified. I feel even earnings will not help JDSU. Where is the buzz going to come from? Something needs to change to change the psychology surrounding JDSU. Cell has 3G a big unknown, nothing better then investing in a big unknown that has a lot of dollar attached to it.

The big PLUS, JDSU and the rest look to be largely done selling off, so maybe the base build period has started.

t2,

QCOM was not looked upon as a high-flyer ever since its spring sell-off. Buying Q at this level is basically "value investing".
