from sec.gov:

"EFFECTIVE DATE: The new rules and amendments will take effect October 23, 2000. "

altho a lot of companies are obviously following it already.

who cares if Jobs runs to the stock's defense in the short term? No long-term investor should care, and the short-term trader is not really an investor anyway, why should Jobs fight on his behalf?

Damn, I got a heck of a paper loss, but since I don't plan on selling for a while, if it' low now I don't care. In fact, if you still believe in Apple, buy it now, because it's on sale!
