If Bush indeed is throwing this out to union workers knowing full well it has no support amongst the chamber-of-commerce House Repubs, then, yes, Bush is lying in that he is portraying this as something that he can accomplish. Also, do I think that Bush embraces this proposal? No. His handlers told him what to say. Hence, he is a liar.

It takes about 15 doves to satisfy a hungry man's appetite, does it not? Although for an ex-wrestling coach like Hastert, he could probably munch down about 20 with a couple quarts of Carling Black Label.
