I don't think many people care as long as you vote for their candidate. I like Matthews but think he is a moderate Democrat. Currently each side says he belongs to the other!
Murali, I will agree with you in that he does probably hold some opinions that reflect Democratic values and others reflecting Republican values. I would bet that 90% of this thread falls into this camp.
